Obviously everyone is talking about semis but he’s quarterfinals match makes me very nervous.

One thing I feel well about is Hamiti off of the scale.
Hamiti is no joke and this is why the seeding sucks in this bracket. One of Hamiti or Carr needed to be on the bottom to split things up. Mesenbrink just won't be challenged at all. Unless Julian comes to wrestle and shocks everyone, which could happen but I'm not betting on it.

I think Izaak can give him a run for his money, he's pretty solid and has a gas tank.

Already one change... Vince Cornella (24) is out at 141. That moves everyone up a peg.

Echemendia will now face Greyson Clark of Purdue in Round 1.

Brya of Northern Illinois moves in at #33.

Unfortunate as a wrestling fan but nothing about Cornell losing right now hurts my feelings after what they pulled against us
as a team - they looked very pedestrian at the Eiwa tourney
don't expect a good tourney on a whole from them this week

Ah, man. This sucks.

Jaqueline has been amazing covering wrestling and I'm sure she was so excited to cover NCAAs. But, most importantly, all the best to @jcordova8 , her mom, and her family. Hopefully, her mom makes a full recovery from whatever she is dealing with.

Jacqueline is awesome and a genuinely good person. I’ve interacted with her a couple times via emails and stuff for different things and she couldn’t have been nicer and gone out of her way to do cool things. I hope all is well with her family.

I know people are talking about Yonger/Hendrickson and even Yonger/Davison, but I almost prefer Hendrickson over Schultz as Yongers potential SF match up.

People forget Schultz is a past NCAA runner up. He will push guys around but won’t initiate much action and could get into a 1 TD match with Kerk or Yonger.

Probably in the minority there but I’d rather see Hendrickson who will take shots.

Think Shultz is on Kerks side
