So watching them this year compared to the past several years they look so different. Very sloppy, not disciplined in several areas and Whittingham looks disinterested and is making weird decisions out there. You almost wonder if they themselves were a little too arrogant coming into this “truck stop conference”.
Looks like they fell victim to a couple lot lizards.

Whittingham has made it clear he's going to retire in a year or two. They've named a coach in waiting, and he even said at media days that the next time it was in Vegas, someone else would be sitting in his place.

I can't imagine he's bringing the same kind of focus and intensity he once did, and that's gotta rub off on the team.

Can’t “run the Big 12” without beating those teams, too.
I understand that, was just replying to the piece about Utah getting too arrogant coming into the truck stop conference. We need some of us truck stop schools to beat them before we can get to big on ourselves.

Right now they’re 2-0 against the “truck stop 8” and I hope that changes soon

I hate Utah, but to be fair to them, their losses are against former pac 12 teams. Unfortunately they’re 2-0 against the hateful 8 this year
That’s exactly what some of their fans are saying. Those are Big 12 schools now, if they wanted to be in the Pac 12 they should have stayed there. Arizona and Arizona State weren’t anything special in the Pac 12.

Also by this logic I will gladly count Texas’ incoming national championship for the Big 12 should they win it.

Calm down. The Arizona schools are in the Big 12. Utah claimed they'd run the Big 12. Not that they'd run the original members and lose to the PAC 12.

Enjoy it a little. Not everything has to be so damn precise.

It doesn’t matter. The Arizona schools are Big 12 schools. Especially Arizona who really wanted to be here. And Okie State and Baylor aren’t exactly the shining beacon for the old school Big 12 teams.

Edit: And Utah wasn’t all high and mighty over the Pac 12 compared to the Big 12 because of schools like Arizona and Arizona State. It was for USC, Washington, Oregon, etc.

The Utes looked down on both Arizona schools while in the Pac 12.

The Baylor game was also not a Big 12 game, strictly speaking.

Big noon kickoff just teased a story on Ed Thomas from Aplington-Parkersburg if anyone's interested.

I don’t know who Kaitlin Olson is but I can’t think of a worse guest picker I’ve seen

It's been so long since iowa had a 11 am game that I didn't realize they didn't start at 11am.

Always nice to have a guest picker come on and say “i really don’t know because I don’t really care about either of these teams” before making the pick.

She was talking about Iowa State and West Virginia…..
