We know what the B1G west was but you’re basically saying the Big 12 is mediocre and trash with this comparison.

I am 100% confident we'd beat OU today.
The won several Big 12 titles including last year.
Their home record in night games against power 5 is ridiculous. Like 20-2 or something like that in the last decade
I’m convinced at this point that some people on this board just does not have the ability to ever give credit when it’s due no matter who the team or conference is. If a team wins it’s because their opponent is trash or they blew it If a team has a good record it’s because their conference is trash.
Every week you would think Iowa State plays the Chiefs every single week and every other FBS team plays Kansas circa 2017 every week.
And also assume that if a program was bad then they can't possibly be good at any point.
ISU didn't play well and had some terrible calls last season vs. KU but there were a few melting down about it being KANSAS when '24 KU last year was a pretty good team that required a good game to beat.
Yep, they were bad quite a few years after Mac.
But suggesting they couldn't hack it in the Big 12 when they literally won it on the way out doesn't make sense.
It makes a little sense since they announced they were leaving a couple years before that. Congrats to Texas for finally winning the Big 12 on their way out. Let's see some consistent winning from them for a change.
