They're the only reason why OU is even in the SEC. That's about as "coattails" as it gets (and Texas being in the SEC has nothing to do with how good they were or weren't the last decade+).
We all know Texas went to the SEC is because they couldn't cut it in the Big 12.:jimlad:

Texas enjoying this NIL era.
The players have always been getting paid and they’ve always had money.

Sarks just a good competent coach. I remember an interview he did in his first year and the roster he inherited had more wide receivers than lineman. He had to overhaul everything they did plus the culture.

Way up there
This, Iowa has 2-3 plays to prepare for. The rest of the game they count in field position and turnovers to win.

I honestly don’t think Iowa is going to lose the rest of the year. Which would potentially land them in the title game as a repeat fraud offender. All the teams at the top have much harder schedules .
Their schedule isn't that tough but the Big Ten isn't either. Ohio St is obviously better than Iowa, Oregon and Penn St probably are too but after that,
Big ten travel gonna cost a lot of teams

This is mostly a list of games where the better team won. The games involving USC and Michigan are the only surprises and its looking like that might just be more about those teams than travel.
