Rotate it between the actual big 12 schools
Crap. I’m too old I guess.BCClone, you must be like me. I love me the big 8 days in FB, BB and Wrestling.
Stillwater, Morgantown, Ames and Tempe. Did I miss anywhere?Rotate it between the actual big 12 schools
He lived with that family upon coming to IowaSo the camera showed some random couple in the stands and I think they called them his parents. He then proceeded to get asked in the interview about his parents in Cuba. What am I missing here?
The announcer had to go, WTF, who said they were his parents they look too old and too white to be his parents. He lived with that family upon coming to Iowa
It was in Hilton 10 years or so ago. Not sure exactly but I remember going.Hilton coliseum sounds like a great option
Omaha?Where does it go though?
Des Moines is booked with high school basketball
KC is booked with Big 12 basketball
StL is booked with Valley basketball
There isn't a great option out there.
Game plan had to be wrestle a close match and get a clean shot if it was there. Turns out yonger is just better. Was interesting to me that Yonger didn’t commit to many leg attacks. Not like him at all. Was that the game plan out of respect for Hendrickson’s counters?
I know OSU is down, but there couldn’t have been 2k people there at the end tonight. Why can’t we rotate this thing around???
Gable losing back in the day led to the team and crowd crushing it for ISU.I can’t speak for everyone else, but I think we’re all just super disappointed for David. We’re so invested in his success that the emotions after that match may have a few of us overreacting (myself included). It’s sucks to watch David lose to him the last two times.
There’s also HyVee arena (Kemper). You need a city that wants it, a suitable venue and amenities, and a local committee who'll outdo Tulsa when it comes to greasing the wheels (or palms).
Could Des Moines do it? Maybe, but WFA is in use through Friday night.
I wonder if Kansas City could/would do it at Municipal. Imagine going to the WBB tournament Saturday morning in T-Mobile, grabbing a few beers at P&L, then walking over to Municipal for the Saturday night semifinals. And then Sunday would only be wrestling due to the hoops off-day.
