I mean Fox went behind the net leaving Marner out there and Matthews in no man’s land.

Seems like a combined mistake and would have to know to know the defensive strategy to assign blame.

My son and I were watching last night (he had never watched hockey) and his first comment was "I can't tell where the puck is". That brought back a memory of the 90s/early 00s when TV used to project a "tail" on the puck. It was much easier to follow when that technology was used. Why did that go away? Did the purists not enjoy seeing that on TV? Anyone remember that era and that technology?

Reading it was a fox thing for two years and left when fox no longer covered them. I think today’s tech might make it more palatable, however with resolution so good I don’t find it that hard to track the puck now.

Ah...I forgot Fox did NHL...Fox owned the technology...makes sense.

Not trying to get banned, but can we all agree that those three fights in the first matchup were the best thing to happen to hockey in years? More eyes on the sport than there has been in a long time

Highest watched NHL game ever. Higher than any SCF. For basically an all star game. Take notes NBA
