I wish the Blues were in the Eastern conference just to avoid so many late games.
Let's Go Caps! Born and raised right outside of DC and hoping Ovechkin can get another one. This is the year but the late season struggles have me a tad concerned. Hoping they're ready to go for this one.
Feeling good, not great, after the Caps took a 2-0 series lead last night. Montreal turns it up in the third period and we look gassed. This can't happen every single game or Montreal could make this a very long series. Last night the boys managed to hold on thanks to Logan Thompson, who had a ridiculous night in net. How is everyone else feeling about their team after most series have gone two games.
I feel like the Panthers are set to have a run at the cup after the first game. I want to see another one before proclaiming it as fact. If they can stay healthy now, they are so deep and the injuries have resulted in guys coming into the playoffs fresh.
The Panthers are filthy good. They're so deep on their top three lines and have a loaded defense. Having Nate Schmidt as your third pairing on defense is just insane. My hope is the Caps get Florida in the semis and I think we could beat them.
