I think the biggest factor for ND was being outscored 24-0 in the middle of the game without hardly even getting a first down. Makes it tough to come back from.

The CFP format isn't the primary problem. It's the 16 and 18 school mega conferences that have effed up the sport and that is due to the ESPN/Fox stranglehold on the sport. It has got to be broken up by 2030.

Why would Iowa spend $2 million on a QB when they are clearly light years behind an Ohio State at every position and have so many other needs? It's not like QB is the only piece they were missing.
