Had to be Hallihan.Ok Fanatics help me out. There was an assistant on Orr's staff that was very active in coaching the team. And no I'm not thinking of Hallihan.

They just hired a splash in football too right?Wow.
That would be a home run hire for that program.
Gearing up for their PAC 12 invite. They just hired a splash in football too right?
Looks like about double Providence:Georgetown must be paying him a fortune. He had a job for life with little stress at Providence.
Sorry. Charlie Harrison is who I was thinking of.Had to be Hallihan.
Unless there were ncaa violations or really bad things going on in the program, it seems like a ******** move to claim his firing was “for cause”.
I'm no legal expert but I think losing is a good "cause"
Yeah the for cause is to get out of paying a buyout and there usually has to be a legal reason or something. Not just being a bad coachBut that never happens. Every school pays a buyout to coaches that they fire for losing.

True but has anyone actually tried arguing it?
I have no idea. I'd bet schools don't want to because that would hurt their reputation for future coaches. But it would be interesting to see St. John's try it. I just don't blame Anderson for fighting it since it is so unusual in the coaching world.
