Both Ankeny teams advance. As an Ankeny resident, I'm happy Ankeny divided into two high schools several years ago, but I can't help wondering what an athletic power they would have been if they hadn't split in half.

It’ll be interesting to see how SEP finishes this year. Their #1 RB (CJ Phillip) is out for the season with a broken toe. Moberly is damn good and so are the receivers - newly minted Iowa State PWO Carson Robbins and Sam Zelenovich (he’s a junior) - but Phillips has been very, very good the last half of the season. The backup RB is still good, but not as shifty/dynamic as Phillip. Once they get to the other big dogs, a complementary running game will be important.Watching SEP. Already up 35-0 with a few min left in the 1st half. Linn Mar has 1 first down I believe.
Which year was that? RPI didn't start until 2018, and was only combined with the 16-team playoff in the small classes for 2 seasons (2018, 2019).
Plus, Grundy is a funny name.I’m not sold on Grundy. They struggled in a few games they shouldn’t have this year and had a pretty weak district outside of Columbus. I assume they make the dome but I don’t think they’ll win it again
Thanks for all the updates BigJCy.EIGHT-PLAYER
