With the emphasis on $$ for some, it is living in the present without thinking about what your going to do after the short time when the spigot is turned off. You all act like these "kids" are all A student finance majors. It doesn't appear that many have shopped for houses. That's after the pay the IRS and buy bling, tats, and an 80,000 car. These kids aren't apt to be planning for the future. People paying them don't care about their futures either. It's reality. Of course many will expect the government to step in and save them or the courts to hand them a verdict after claiming they were used.
I am sure all of you were the exception and were mature beyond your years.

No, maybe I did well in finance and have witnessed a few immature people burning through life changing gifts.
I also remembering interviewing applicants for common labor jobs that had resumes boasting of successful D1 athletic careers. Just trying to point out some of pitfalls in this world.
