agree, but this play is a great example of what people want to see change. This would be target flagrant 2. Penalty and ejections, etc.
versus some of these incidental targeting which should be a penalty and move on.

Making it subjective based on how bad it was would just make it worse.

That kind of targeting may have gotten him tossed pre-targeting era.

One of the few I've seen that was that intentional.

I didn't see it discussed, but the UNC v App State game must have been crazy to watch. UNC won 63-61 and there were no OT's. App State scored 40 points in the 4th quarter. A total of 9 TD's scored by both teams in the quarter, 6 by App State.

Linked is the ESPN boxscore. Not sure I have every seen that many TD's in a quarter. I guess UNC's defense will much improved bringing Chizek back!!!
