Smoltz said that his dad would have wanted him to do the game. Not only was he a great pitcher, but a high character player and person.

ARod predicted 8 dingers so it was kinda expected.

I just don't care about the two teams playing this year. I thought the White Sox should always play.

Same. I watched the entire thing in awe last year. Not sure if the Cubs or Reds actually being decent would have helped, but I gave up after 5 innings tonight. 2 of the worst teams currently vs 2 teams that were in pennant races a year ago, changes the allure quite a bit.

They should have done Twins/White Sox or Guardians/White Sox IMO.
