Feels like it should be 1 in 5 years or 1 in 10 years. Any more frequent than that and I think the novelty would get tired pretty quickly.
I think an every other year rotation keeps the novelty. MLB should pick 3-4 significant locations around the country like this to play in each year and then rotate between them.

I think MLB is still in a bit of a wait-and-see mode before making it permanent and an annual thing.
IMO they can make it work as an annual event for the next decade. Enough MLB teams within 4-5 hours that can rotate through as home team with decent size fanbases: Cubs, W-Sox, Twins, Brewers, Cards and even Royals.

It will definitely help if game can match-up play-off level teams.

And that way they can justify having black out rules for all of those teams in Iowa.

I think it's a necessary evil to keep the game there in the future. A chance to make a permanent stadium.
I hope that’s true and they come back. It will lose its luster over time but it’s SUCH a special and cool thing

I've shared this tweet thread before but MLB could do so much more to increase the popularity of the game.

They got another perfect August night. What are the chances two years and two perfect nights of weather? 4 days ago it was 95 and felt like 110 at this time. Tonight it's 79 and feels like 81 in Dubuque.
