Watching the Cards game today, they had an unbelievable stat, the D-Backs have lost 16 games in a row, they are 1 for 17 in June, last win was June 1st. On Fathers day, they are 25.5 games out of first. Today they are down 9 to 1 in the 6th to the Dodgers.
Damn that would kill any fan base.

Reminder of how screwed MLB blackout crap is in Iowa. Visiting here and just noticed Yanks/KC game is at noon. Blacked out on MLB, of course, since they blackout half the league in Iowa. VPN to the rescue. Screw MLB.
If I was running the Yanks I think I'd fire Boone (he's shown nothing in his tenure) and hire Cone. Interesting Cone rebuttal to O'Neill during Yank broadcast. Paul going all old school the game is lost and Cones more nuanced take. Conie is sort of a modern analytic guy but has that history knowledge to meld with it.
Gads the Yanks suck. Channel flipped in only to watch Ohtani hit. Of course he hit one about 800 feet into right. Game's over in the 1st, again.

Edit: Channel flipped back just in time to see Angel pitcher Bundy puking behind the mound.
Guessing they won't show the poor grounds guy that has to clean that up while a new pitcher warms up. It was a LOT of puke.
