Plenty of guys can make shots with bad form. Heck, Curry's form is weird.

The issue is consistency and not getting it blocked if you've got a slow wind-up at the NBA level. Defenders are a lot faster, longer, and clever at that level.

I suppose that a good, smooth form is some guard against injury long-term, as well.
TH’s form doesn’t allow him to shoot unless he is wide open. He’s got NBA long perm ability but a 0% chance of getting drafted if you were to leave this year . He’s actually a liability on his college team much of the time.

THT will likely go late 2nd round and leave.

LW will probably go undrafted and play overseas.

TH will be back.

Lard will be bagging groceries.

Fans will blame Prohm.

Remaining team will thrive without the drama and baggage.

I get that Haliburton and THT are young, and have potential, but so do like 50 other freshman. Monte Morris was really young as a freshman, and was a much better player than Haliburton, and there was never even a thought of him getting drafted. THT I could see a little more with his skill set, but I have a hard time believing a 6'3" shooting guard with average athleticism by NBA standards who shoots 25% from 3 will be a first round pick.

The biggest surprise to me in those draft projections is Ja Morant and Jarrett Culver going ahead of R.J Barrett. Neither of those guys are freshman by the way.

Tyrese has the height
