Wow, Big loss for Huggy. My first thought was Prohm call then I realized we are full on roster spot... then I realized (obviously) it wouldn't matter since ISU will be a restricted B12 school. Gotta think Nebraska was his first recruiting call.

Would love if he went juco for a year so ISU could get involved for 2019

Just saw the teddy Allen news. That is a big shocker. He is either tired of the press or tired of huggy... or both.

Believe Huggins is currently at 14 scholarships unless I missed another departure on top of Teddy Allen

Edit: Word on the twitter is backup center Logan Routt may return to walk on status

A lot of players are starting to announce that they are returning to school. The longer this Wigginton situation goes on the less it makes me confident he returns. He must be doing really well in his workouts.

Prohm said yesterday Lindell has a couple of more team visits he may make and will announce his intention next week right inline with May 30 day to return.
It only makes since for him to wait until all his team meetings are done before removing his name. If he had a promise or was leaning to going pro I guess he'd already announced he's intention to stay in the draft as many players have. I'm still of the opinion he'll return, just going through the process.

I saw Roach, Ahmad, and Konate are all coming back. Azubuike, Barry Brown and Wigginton are the Big 12 guys that are think are left.

WVU will have the best team since Huggins final 4. WVU has been to sweet 16 3 of past 4 years and teams that eliminated them had a combined 5 losses. KY, zaga and villanova. Huggins added 6 players.

"So now, here are the Mountaineers with one of the best recruiting classes in the Big 12 and certainly the finest since Bob Huggins reached the Final Four, and they’re there because of the talent added in the last three weeks. This, too, is not a slight toward guards Trey Doomes and Jordan McCabe and forwards Andrew Gordon and Derek Culver. They had WVU in a respectable rankings position, but Haley and Matthews lifted everyone up a level. Again, it’s important to remember this happened in April and May."

Look at it this way: Huggins had a chance to look at his roster at its best and worst moments last season and then go out and recruit two likely impact players to address needs. That he did so while adding a variety of versatility on offense and probably also on defense is an extraordinary thing here. This roster is what he envisions. He wants better passers. He wants to create mismatches. He wants lineups with length and height and players who can get their own offense and who can switch around on the other ends to shut down offenses. Somehow, he got it all.

I assume a result of Vick returning.

@mctait Junior guard Sam Cunliffe will transfer from #KUbball per a KU release. -- No word on a school yet.
@WingspanSports Thought this could happen after Vick returned. Have to feel for Cunliffe. Talented kid who can’t find the right situation. Kansas loses a very athletic wing player who can shoot the 3. #kubball

Didn't sound like he was in the mix even without Vick.
