Yeah it's not like we've ever seen a 15ppg from Marshall translate into B12 success.
Yes that's why I said skeptical. We've hit on 1 of 5 maybe classify Bowie as a fringe B12 caliber. Also Marshall > Pacific. Come on you're better than that post

Certainly don’t think he’s close to Kane but Pacific this year was Kenpom 178 and Kanes last year at Marshall they were like 217...so I don’t think they are that far off

I think Shaq Carter is better from the JUCO ranks but don't know much about this kid
Probably depends on what the program needs. Weber wanted a big rebounding presence. That's what Trice seems to bring. Having watched JUCO's in football for a long time, I'm aware year one is often disappointing but the senior year can be special. Not sure if hoops are different in that way or not.

247 ranks him #1 power forward and #5 overall according to a report I just read.

https://247sports.com/Season/2018-Basketball/CompositeRecruitRankings?InstitutionGroup=JuniorCollege

247 doesn't rank JUCO's until they commit somewhere. Hence why there is only 8 players ranked.

2019 football has only 20 ranked prospects, 9 of them are committed and 6 of them are highly coveted. 3 of the remaining 5 have Ole Miss offers, so the Ole Miss 247 guy must be on top of things.

People asked where I saw the Trice ranking, so I posted it. My gosh, lighten up.

This is someone Weber pursued very hard and won out over OU and Illinois. He got the kid he wanted. We'll have to see how that works out on the court. I've seen juco guys who were great and others who were horrid. Thus, I'll reserve judgment on this youngster.

The other salient point is that he probably replaces Amaad Wainright as there was no scholarship available. Wainright is out on bail for a nasty matter involvement in metro KC. I doubt he ever plays again at K-State.

I give Kruger credit for reloading on the fly for next year... We'll see a new roster playing of OU next year.
Not sure how successful it will end up being but they are getting players.

@coreyevans_10 Oklahoma signs one of top athletic junior college prospects and an All-American within his own right in Kur Kuath

I recall this guy got a lot of attention when he announced his transfer. He put up good shooting numbers but he's 5'11", has dealt with injuries, and Maine was 331 out of 352 on KenPom. Guess we'll see how that translates to the Big 12.

Is that 2 grad transfers and 1 sit out now that Krueger has landed this spring?

I think Maine has won like 20 games in 4 years.

They were.......awful.

Considering what OU lost from this year, attacking the transfer market was Lon's only move and we'll see how it works out. I am pretty impressed OU has been able to pivot and get a roster together this quickly.
As we saw this year with ISU, depending on a number of new players especially ones who transferred from lower levels is pretty risky. I still wouldn't expect them to make the tourney.
