I've heard a few of the "draft experts" state none of this year's receivers are actually worth a first round pick.
Treadwell seems pretty legit.
But maybe not too legit to quit.

According to NBC sports Spielman has been taking a few calls from teams wanting to move up a few spots to 23.As a Vikings fan, I want to see Spielman make yet another 1st round trade. I am very wary of all the projections that we are taking a WR - I still get flashbacks of Troy Williamson. I do think that Treadwell and Doctson both appear to have greater ability to catch in traffic, whereas Williamson was just a "speed" threat. Taking a WR is a no-brainer move for where they are currently at - BUT I think they could be better suited if they traded up for an OT to replace Kalil after next season, or traded back for a safety that can study under Michael Griffin - who has arguably been one of the best safeties in the NFL.

Christmas in April. Lots of intrigue.
Hoping for a bunch of trades and curious to see how far Myles Jack tonight and Jaylan Smith falls tomorrow (3rd?).
If this years draft really is as deep as the pundits say it is, then that would be a great move. I wonder if it's Tennessee looking to move back into the first round? They have 5 picks in rounds 2 & 3 that would allow them to move back up and give Minnesota more selections on Friday.
I read an article yesterday that had the Titans using one of their second rounders on Braxton Miller. That seems like a reach for him, but since I don't watch much Big ten football I don't know how well his move to WR panned out at tOSU.

Really hoping the Vikings add a WR tonight. I like Doctson and Treadwell, but Thomas and Coleman would also be good. If they can slide down a few spots and still get one of those guys while adding a mid-round pick, that would be ideal.
My guess is that they will trade down as well and take Thomas.
I know this has been the conventional wisdom, but look at all the marginal offensive lineman that have done absolutely nothing in the NFL after draft day. The list grows every year, which is why teams may spend the money on a RB. At least for the most part first round backs have always produced for at least a few years. There have been some real duds on the OL. Look at how much worse Rieff is getting at this point.I too hope you draft Elliott. I would love for you to waste a 1st round pick on a RB. In today's NFL, drafting a RB in 1st round is a waste. Makes it perfect for the Cowboys.
I might think the same but with Cincinnati right behind them, they might take their top option without risking losing him. I could see it become more likely that MIN moves down if CIN trades up into the teens and takes Treadwell or Doctson, and then when #23 rolls around all three of Doctson/Treadwell, Coleman, and Thomas are still available.
We'll know in a couple of hours. If Treadwell and Doctson are gone, will Trader Rick trade down and go another position late first round and pick up a WR in the second or third?
I think Wentz will be better than Goff, but I definitely don't think either were worth the king's ransom those teams gave up.
