Alright BB recruiting junkies. Some questions about Fred's upcoming recruiting endeavors. Our 2011 class is done, so he will likely be working on juniors in the coming year. How many scholarships do you see going out in 2012, and who are the players that ISU wants right now? I know Ray Lee and Negus Webster Chan are there, as well as Paige, but who are the other guys. I have heard great things about Phillip Nolan. Do we have a chance with this guy?

Webster-Chan may be close to committing to Louisville. He just took his second unofficial visit there, this time to bring his mother to see the school. This is two trips just this fall. Pitino is supposed to come to his school for game soon, mu guess is if Pitino approves, Webster-Chan commits.

Not sure we are recruiting Phillip Nolan any more.

Paige skipped the Iowa State vs iowa game to trip to UNC. My guess is he'll be a tarheel or a jayhawk.

Wow, Bennett is the type of player I would love to see at ISU. Looks to have all the physical attributes in the world.

J.P. Tokoto - Yahoo! Sports

One of my roommates went to high school in Wisconsin and he said JP Tokoto ripped his HS team up when JP was a sophomore.

i just sent some information to coach hoiberg about a tounament of 16 teams in a tournment at south padre isle .they had lewisville texas marcus high school in the tournament who was supposedly rank 5th in the nation. the 4 teams in the semi finals were outstanding. i talked to the coaches and got information on all the teams.
lewisville marcus played judsen converse in the semi finals. judson was down at the half about 15-17 points. judson was just coming off from the football playoffs and were a tad bit rusty because of the texas 5a football playoffs. i left at half time, but judson found a way to get into rhythm in the second half and beat the mighty lewisville team.then judson went on to the championship and won the championship game. it was one of the best high school tourneys i have observed. lewisville marcus has a 5-10 guard named phil forte and this kid is an exceptional point guard.he can dribble ,pass the ball very effectively, and can lay it up and shoot the three. he is only 5-10 and is probably ranked as one of the top guards in the country according to the tourney manager. there were two catholic teams that made the semifinals antonian from san antonio and saint thomas from houston..every team had boys boys at 6-9 and 6-10 on their team except for judson converse---their was a silky smooth forward on the judson team and i sent a big report to coach hoiberg with at least 12 kids' names. texas and boise state already have pledges from two kids from the san antonio antonian catholic school.these two kids were all over the rim.... and were 6-10 each.

all of these teams had at least at least 2-4 d-1 ballers.it was a exceptional display of high school basketball....

I watched Paige tonight against Cedar Falls. He was fairly unimpressive. Matt Bohannon was the best player on the floor tonight. Ben Jacobsen was in the house to watch him.

Paige doesn't try to do too much so he doesn't catch your eye all of the time. He's a game manager.

Haven't heard of his name before and couldn't find his Rivals profile. I know he's a guard but that's about it. What kind of player is he? Any big name schools after him?

He's been in the NBA for a couple years now. Went to Ohio State with Greg Oden.

I'm going to get the chance to watch Ray Lee twice this year. I hope he is legit. We'll see. I'll report back in a couple weeks.
