Didn't we already have this discussion a few months ago with the Ames high vs UI hawks in bball? The consensus was Iowa by 60.

After all the departures, I look for Iowa by only 5-10 now :biglaugh:

This game would get ugly, very quickly. It would be like taking a HS team and matching them up with a D-1 team. Think about how many kids on a HS team are not nearly good enough to play DIII ball, much less D1. Same goes for college to pros

Lions, easily. How many players on that Florida team got drafted or are in the NFL? Every one of the Lions' players are obviously NFL talent and are on the team for a reason.
I remember somebody saying (can't remember who) that the jump from D-1 college football to the NFL would be like going straight from Junior high football to D-1 college. The level of talent and the speed of play is just so much bigger.

That is entirely up for debate - my opinion is the talent that plays for the Lions does so because they're not talented enough to play for anyone else in the NFL... :cute::laugh:

That being said, the Lions would still roll - although it might be the only win they pick up this year...

You guys are dumb the gators are prolly just as fast and have a more high powered offense i think the gators would win 35-14 I think you guys are forgetting how good that gator D line is I think Oklahoma would have a decent shot

Lions. Like others have said, they are professionals, football is what they do. I'm sure they would be irate to be playing the game, and would get extra amped to play a game against a college team. There would be lots of pain for the Gators.
