1st Timer needs advice from Veterans

Taking my wife down to the Big12 tourny this year for the first time. I know nothing of the resteraunts in the area. This will be our first trip away from the kids in a few years, any good resteraunts we must visit while down there?

I already booked our Hotel.

In P&L I recommend going to gordon biersch or else if you want a bar that has 300ish beers go to the flying saucer, though they only have bar food basically.

As far as KC area is concerned Jack Stack, KC Joes (formerly oklahoma joes), and Arthur Bryants all have good bbq.

I booked at the Hotel Phillips, pricey but close. We love barbecue so I will definitely be checking out Jack Stack. Thanks for the advice

Jack Stack BBQ and Power and Light District, Westport or The plaza. No matter where you go though, you'll be surrounded by Cyclone fans. We're all there for one common reason, enjoy it man! Here's a video from Power and Light District I took before the Championship game.

across from Kelley's and if you want to spend some serious money on a great meal go to Houston's
