I am sure the officials in Saturday's men's game against KU will give ISU the benefit of the home court doubt . . . . . . OR NOT!Did our teams piss off the officials recently or something? Ashley clearly gets bumped and blocked on that “steal”. Both men’s and women’s teams can’t get a whistle.
I mean law of averages says the men especially should come out and win. That would be four straight losses (although I think the women best OU after the men lost to Mizzou but same day close enough) combing the two teams, men and women. Since both are in the top-15, there can’t be many times in history that would happen where both teams combined lose four straight.I am counting on Saturday as being a redemption for both teams this week.
Let's get back on track then!
Honestly I am good I guess with it, but at home we rarely get that lopsided officiating in our favor. We as fans are tortured this week by refs have such an impact in outcomes. 22 called fouls in a half for our men, and then our women have calls that aren’t on them called on them and then not getting a call when we are thrown around. Just don’t quite understand. They say it all evens out but I’ve yet to see us benefit from calls to keep us in games or affect an outcome. Time will tell!
That foul called on Ashley when she was trucked over by the KState player was one of the worst calls I have seen this season . . . . . in any game.Doesn’t excuse the garbage officiating we have witnessed both men and women the last two games.
Wish I could have seen that. Technicals aren’t common in wbb anyway, let alone as an “extra” one.Tech led OSU 70-69 with 5 min left. Then OSU went on a 16-0 run, and ended up winning 86-74.
Tech even managed to get a player with 6 fouls -- fouled out, then got a T on the way to the bench. That team's attitude is definitely a reflection of their coach.
First half, feet tangling was a foul if the player fell. Second half Ashley would get shoved to the floor and it was just okay on. It was more blatant physical (non basketball type play) than any men’s games I’ve seen. That foul called on Ashley when she was trucked over by the KState player was one of the worst calls I have seen this season . . . . . in any game.
Yep. I actually get it that the game moves fast and you will likely miss some fouls. It’s all good as human error is a thing. What I can’t ever wrap my mind around is the ones that are so blatant that they miss or call incorrectly (cough guy who fouled Grill the other night that allowed Tech to get the ball and tie it at the end instead of free throws). That foul called on Ashley when she was trucked over by the KState player was one of the worst calls I have seen this season . . . . . in any game.

I think we lost because they played better. One basket better.Honestly I am good I guess with it, but at home we rarely get that lopsided officiating in our favor.
Not why we lost tonight because yet again the third quarter just flipped the game. Doesn’t excuse the garbage officiating we have witnessed both men and women the last two games.
