Hate to see a guy hang up the headgear due to injuries before they can finish out their career. Though if he's withdrawing from school it might be more serious than just wrestling injuries.

Went over to Hawk Report today and I'd like to share exhibit A as to why Iowa Wrestling fans are literally the worst human beings in the entire world

A guy is withdrawing from school due to a medical problem and there are multiple people posting (and more giving them likes for it) about how he deserves it because he beat an Iowa guy once. And reminiscing about how another Iowa wrestler was a piece of trash and tried to block his run to the tunnel after the match.

And that same day was when they cheered on and saluted when Gilman tried to severely injure a guy because he was mad about losing (and got the NCAA rulebook changed to explicitly make what Gilman did something that'll get you kicked out).

Iowa wrestling, trash from the head coach on down.

How dare a guy get excited after a win at National Duals?!?!?!?! What a real scumbag. Iowa fans are always fine with "showmanship" unless it's against them.

Hey Judoka, I normally really like your postings here; you bring a lot of insight to the forum. And while I am no apologist for Iowa fan behavior, I think you should note that a lot of the postings were nasty, more were sympathetic to the plight of Palaccio.
