Bump - Started thinking about bringing my camper up with Game Day in town and the earlier start to the day. Just to confirm, you can arrive at 5:30 pm on Friday night? Any thing else that was missed in the posts above?
Thanks in advance.
Old thread resurrection but I have a 1978 Glastron boat that was passed down to me this weekend. My Dad got the motor running pretty well but the prop only spins slowly when you put the throttle down. It has a MerCruiser 898 inboard/outboard motor. I called around (Dave’s and Water’s Edge) and...
Bump. Picked mine up tonight. Looks great! The gentleman helping me stated that you can be entered for a $1000 gift card by filling out a survey that comes with the paperwork/receipt. As part of that survey, we need to mention the Cyclonefanatic connection so they are encouraged to keep offering...
I know there has already been plenty of advice handed out regarding yards but I was hoping for some advice more specific to my yard. A few years back we (my wife) inadvertently overseeded with a type of fescue in lieu of bluegrass. Now my yard looks like crap with the clumps throughout. I've...
They are offering a deal right now that if you purchase $2000 in furniture, you get a free 50" Samsung plasma TV. Does anyone have any experience with this sort of promotion or with American Appliance in particular? At first glance it seems to be a good deal but I always figure the devil is in...
The letter states that we play at Arrowhead on September 18, which I'm sure Utah would like to know since we are supposed to play them in Ames that weekend. Something is amiss.
Just a question regarding the sauce, is it chunky tomato sauce as the name implies (Crushed tomatoes)? My wife and I are considering dining there before the game on Saturday but we're not big fans of chunks of tomatoes.
Making the trip to Lincoln for the first time this weekend and just am wondering what to expect on game day, especially with an early kick-off. We are staying at the Embassy Suites by the stadium so hopefully that will help. I've heard there is not much real tailgating and people go to bars...
I attended also and thought Colin Powell was excellent. A lot funnier than I envisioned. Seemed to me that Zig Ziglar would have been good before his fall but it was just weird yesterday. Bradshaw and James Smith were my favorites. I did sign up for the Phil Town endorsed seminar in case it...
I will go as far as to say that they are almost interchangeable but the focus is different for each. BTW 3/4 of the ConE curriculum is not CE classes. And I see stupid designs from CE's every job...its funny.
Also, part of being a ConE is trying to erase the stigma attached to contractors...
I'm an '05 ConE grad and I know some ConE's who do design, both civil and structural. So thanks for marginalizing my degree by stating that a two year CM grad can do my job.
The biggest difference is that CE's stay focused on design and ConE's get into the business side of the industry...
The following is a letter that Sturges posted to WebCT when I had EM 324. Its pretty long but it verifies what kind of robot he is. Although he was actually helpful once I worked up the nerve to go to his office.

I guess I would just be curious to see a poll on here of who had pre-marital sex. Someone want to set that up? Be curious to see the results of previous sex education attempts.
I read this article the other day that provided some good insight into the refinery debate. Try to forget your personal opinions on CNN and I think it is a good read.

First, let me say that I don't advocate giving the DPS guns because of the VT killings. I advocate giving the DPS guns because they are law enforcement officers under the control of the Dept. of Public Safety, just like the Iowa State Patrol. It has been argued that for the most part, DPS...
Is Mo Jazz still open? They should just buy that place and totally remodel. That way they could have Lumpy's in the basement with access from the back. I can't believe they have to move. Their current location was awesome.
I don't take it as meaning all four schools are on the same level, I just take it to mean the "Big Four" schools that most Iowans are interested in. For me personally, that is correct because I like to read about the ISU, Drake, UNI and Iowa.
