    In State Recruiting - 2017

Lombardi will not get an Iowa offer from what I have heard. His father is extremely hard to deal with. His father was run out of Washington hs in CR. He burned so many bridges with people in the eastern part of the state I would be shocked if he were to get an offer.

Voices from the Stands - Iowa Game

Most suites are owned by companies. Not that unusual to have fans from the other school in some of the suites. Happens almost every game.

    To the Hawks...

The JC players on your D really improved it from the last several years. More size, quickness and strength. If you get a few JC players of that type every year you will have a very good D from now on. The only problem is some JC players are only eligible for one year- there is a reason they...

    Iowa's perimeter D

He changed safety positions- he is playing were Lodermilk played last year.

    Iowa's perimeter D

Nieman (#44) is a first year starter- true Soph. He is bigger, quicker and a much better athlete than anyone who played last year. Jewel moved from outside to middle backer where he is much better suited. The 3rd lb is the weak spot- either Fisher or whoever. I expect ISU to attack the LBs...

    Nice start Big 10

Indiana the last place team beat Mizou at Mizou-the SEC Divison champ. Also Mizou didn't have a ton of turn overs. Lots of average teams make bowls. FYI- The B10 is not favored in any bowl game this year.

KF wouldn't reply because the reporter did not go through the Athletic department which is procedure. He was not happy with KCRG and he reporter.

Iowa (-14) favorite over Iowa State per Ken Miller

The point spread is all about getting the money to even out on both sides so the bookie gets the juice and has little chance of losing their shirt. That point spread is stupid. Most IA-ISU games are close games. As are most games with KF coaching.

What is everyone expecting? (in the long run)

Football is changing. Back in the 70's, 80's 90's is was hard for teams like Iowa and ISU to compete. With the new television money pouring in the landscape is changing. The facilities at ISU are either very good or in the process of upgrading. The money just keeps getting more each year...

    ***Official 2015 Recruiting Thread***

From what I have read he really connected with your RB coach- same backround. Think he ends up at ISU.

In state recruiting for 2015 class

Scout has Paulens 1 and 2 then Newborg, then Meeker. Interesting that Meeker has been to camps at both ISU and UI with no offers. Iowa has offer to: Paulsens, Newborg, Cook, Boyle off the top of my head.

In state recruiting for 2015 class

Paulsen twins have been very open with coaches that they were a heavy Iowa lean. Most coaches probably didn't waste much effort. You would have to change both of their minds since they have made it very clear they want to play together.

Boyle can come in at QB but knows IA. sees him as a Safety. How good is the Allen kid?

KF stated that the 2015 Iowa class is above average and that they expect to offer 6-8 kids.
