Interim/New Coaches Coming Up
Basically the two big TTU boosters wanted a say to hire "their guy". Wells didn't have any real TX connections and their new coach does, boosters and fans will give him much more slack than Wells if he doesn't hit expectations immediately. -

Absolutely agree, this is just my thinking up to this point with the information provided. Obviously all goes out the window if there is more realignment or other large dominoes fall- which we have seen is very possible -

For Edge I would say that age is an issue, teams are looking for athletic freaks that they can develop and fine tune. Both my wife and I are the oldest of our siblings and will be long term in the area, we may end up being in this boat. Thankfully the in-laws own a good chunk of their house and it is in a desirable, more private area and they do have some saved up, just not enough.
