    I agree, the offense did well against TCU, the run game was strong and Purdy and the O Line were better.

    One of the games to focus on. Sounds like people are getting back on board. I hadn't thought about it but a win this weekend gives us what amounts to a 3 game lead in the conference standings on Okie. That would feel a lot better than a couple weeks ago...

    True, but it was two point game with 6 minutes left... they were in the game. Speaking of which, we need to start a little faster this weekend, can't go a quarter and a half with a 0 on the board.

    Duggan did play better than Downing... If Purdy could play and he was on the bench for the first half and we lost three, I'd be upset. 8.3 yards per play is awesome... no one averaged over 8 yards per play for the season last year My guess is they got sick of mentioning us? Or Bailey already...

    The protection and receivers did not help him in the first game, but qb is a spot where when things are good you get all the credit, but when things don't go well its all on you. I think the O line needs to get a lot better, though growth up front can happen fairly quickly with experience.

    Kolar is key. He can win in any situation. I bet you see TCU try to man him up with Moehrig a lot, but Charlies has a big size advantage.

    I agree with you the loss of one player SHOULDN'T make this much difference. We had a few guys who couldn't go and the depth was not good, so it DID make a big difference. I am not saying if he plays we win, but I do think we have a shot to win.
