My impression of the way this staff recruits the transfer market is to jump on their role players early, and then go all out for their biggest targets. Seems like having 3 weeks to go before the portal closes and only really needing one or two...

    Portal season is just getting fired up. Probably still a lot of kids that haven't even entered yet. If we had the money to go after Cluff, we have money to go after whoever is next on their list.

    I wouldn't say glad, but I think Buchanan is a great pick up, and I'd much rather spend big money on a shooting/combo guard

    I'm honestly more concerned about our ability to break down the defense off the dribble, and I think a healthy Lipsey, and the addition of Williams and hopefully Rohde could help with that.

    My guess is that their top dollar offer is already out there, so the skepticism is coming from the standpoint that if it comes down to more money, we're out. If we're in the ballpark, there's a chance that TJ, the staff, team and atmosphere and culture win out. We'll see.

    I like it okay. I certainly wouldn't watch it if my wife didn't want to though. Not really sure how else to describe it other than it has a common vibe through all the seasons (beautiful destination, fairly interesting people/actors and an overarching murder mystery).

    I could be wrong, but it doesn't seem like we've blown out our budget for these 3 (no disrespect to them, they just don't appear to be in the most competitive tier in the portal), so I'm wondering if we're saving it for one big transfer (maybe a shooting guard)?
