I don't remember all the top end wrestlers that defaulted out of qualifying tournaments and no one never how healthy they were. Nolf was one. Didn't Cstar last year and got the 8 seed? PSU has had a few, but they also have more of the top end talent. -

They have started to put a lot more emphasis on the qualifying tournament. The top end wrestlers and their coaches forced this to happen. All the defaulting out of qualifying tournaments and not getting getting a loss against them and still getting their great seed has lead us to this other... -

Definitely a regular redshirt and an Olympic redshirt. Not sure how he would get a medical redshirt when not on a roster. Was his true freshman year a Covid year? In his interview he said he had 2 years left and maybe 3! Don't understand that -

I also think AJ is probably reaching out to everyone and seeing if he can generate interest. I was no idea if Iowa State is seriously looking at AJ alone or only AJ and Angelo as a package or not at all. -

With roster limits and the weight jam in the middle weights, is there anything different that the coaches and wrestlers will do to eliminate the log jam and moving of weights up & down during the season? I know injuries affected a lot of that. -

This portal is going to be crazy I think. I am willing to wait until after NCAA and see how the roster limits affects this team and who enter the portal off of this this and others. Hope the staff sits down with the wrestlers and lays out a plan for them for next year. -
