i have always hated the hawks for their stupid *** excueses everytime we beat the **** outta them. I know some of you might have friends or relatives in iowa city, but I wished that the tornado last year would have wipped out the whole campus and every building that the University owns.
i have cal, ucla bruins, usc trojans, standford cardinal, San Diego state aztecs, cal poly, cal fullerton. i dont know if those last two are div. 1 cause then you could go off on call riverside from bball and cal irvine who drake played on tues.
I do understand what your talking about, but at the beginning of the season those games looked very tough. Seattle was the Super Bowl runner up. NY Giants were suppposed to be a playoff team with Eli, NY Jets had playoff talk with Pennington back and when isn't New England ever in playoff talk.
That would def. be an amazing Super Bowl and looks like as of now that who it will be. It does seem as tho Baltimore might be able to do good in the playoffs and don't forget the Bears if Grossman can find his game. They are winning on defense alone and they won't be able to in the playoffs, but...
just another update and then wondering about another cyclone, I am from Remsen and knew Jared Homan a little and his sister quite a bit. He is actually in Korea now playing ball. He spent last year over in Greece and moved to Korea now playing ball for one of their teams. I was wondering if...
they haven't had too tough of a schedule yet, we would be 9-0 in that situation, they have beat Savannah State, Alabama State, Southern New Orleans, Spring Hill, Sam Houston, Loyla- New orleans, Bellhaven, Tennesee Martin, and Luithania academy.
I actually dont mind the old cy that was running. don't know if that would look good on a helmet or even the old logo of the tordano looking red thing.
ross took the chargers to the super bowl with humphries in 94 also with junior seau against the 49ers with Steve Young, Tom Ratham, Jerry Rice and that whole crew and were beat 49-24
wooden for michigan was the last defensive player who one it and leon hart or someone from Notre Dame is the last off. or def. lineman to win the heismen.
i would have to agree with him. I do understand and feel for the team with being young and all, but Iowa is just as young, granted there coaching staff has been there, but we just got thumped. No other way to put it. I hate to see what Ohio State with Greg Oden is going to do to our defense.
Just received word from Pollard that at the time of our National Titles there were 150 schools with a Men's Gymnastics team, now there is only 18 so he said with the decrease in popularity the less sponsors were interested and the less money we had for a sport that was loosing popularity.
one of the reasons for not playing go cyclones go is for the lyrics it has or has been given with, Don't Know the Words, Don't Know the Words to this stupid ****ing song. As of the 4th down or safety I would love to play Thunderstruck for them.
other things like that, is that Notre Dame at the end of the 3rd quarter of every football game plays the 1812 Overture, you all have heard of it and its on V for Vendetta, and they wave a W with hands up and down yelling Wies. Pretty sweet when you got 80,000 ppl doing that or even 40,000 at...
ya, talking to the comment above, the Tim Floyd video of us vs. Kansas had to have been the Big 12, didn't Johnny Orr coach until mid 90's. I belive 95 or 96 was the first year of the Big 12
I feel the playoff system again would be great but what happens 3 years down the road to an 8-3 or 9-3 ISU team that quite doesn't make the Top 16. That's a great season for us and we just end it like that or end it at the Big 12 Championship?
i totally agree that he would be a great fit in Stanford or even Tulane, but whether he gets the job is another thing. Mac is a midwest type of guy and probably would prefer to stay in this area if all possible.
to add even more controversy to this subject it would be nice to see Ohio State and Michigan both easily handling their opponents, Florida and USC, by winning with ease.
