I could be wrong but heavy seems like a bad choice for AJ. He’ll be like 225-230 max? I think Bastida will be too big/strong for him.
He said he weighs like 230 and if he can get up to 235-240 and feel good he will go heavyweight. He said it’s still up in the air and 197 is still an option. He said that’s between him and the coaching staff. Their current 197 is also a tweener and going to struggle to make 197

And did those two start college wrestling right out of HS?
This will be AJ 6th year in college since HS. One year was covid now add in a RS and 4 years he's no different than everyone else in the covid era who got 6 years. So I was just confused by acting like he's so old. He's not guaranteed another year after next year that's TBD

Here is a question for those guys good at figure out birth dates. Bo Bassett is going into his senior year of high school. Luke stanich, who he just lost to is going into his third year of college.

I’d be willing to bet those two aren’t even 12 months apart in age. Anyone able to figure that out?

Bassett was born Aug 2006 and Stanich March 2005 so 17/ 18 months difference
