Not quite right. They lost AAU accreditation, they are still a fully accredited University. Iowa State gave up their AAU accreditation when they determined the cost/effort to maintain didn't provide sufficient return.

And it's not like we did something to deserve to lose our AAU membership. Rather, AAU changed the criteria in favor of certain types of universities, such as those with medical schools.

He is announcing live on flowrestling instagram in a half an hour. I agree he isnt going back down to 197, wherever he lands it's going to be at hwt. In that case, nebraska is a good guess

Nebraska is going to be very good next year. Sign me up for an AJ/Bastida matchup.
I personally didn't want AJ here but he will be a site to see on that Nebraska team. They were already tough and they are a big10 team so they will get plenty of attention. I don't see him having anymore issues moving forward with that staff, but it's like trying to have a gorilla as a house pet. Time will tell

I could be wrong but heavy seems like a bad choice for AJ. He’ll be like 225-230 max? I think Bastida will be too big/strong for him.
