AJ Ferrari: Yes or No?

I really really don't know much about him or the history but he's got kind of a Pat Downey vibe, right?
Do you really want to sell your soul to have one kid come wrestle for our University? When he was going to Iowa for a minute they told all the girls he was coming and to not go near him. I know this because my daughter goes to school at Iowa. (Her major was not at Iowa State and she still rocks State gear so I except it).
I'll trust the staff. A lot of people (myself included) were questioning bringing Echemendia back and thought that risk was not worth it, but Ech has stayed out of trouble and has really become a model citizen and teammate in Ames. If Dresser thinks AJ has turned a new leaf and they have similar guardrails in place, I'll trust him to make the best decision for the program.
I am sure that IF he were to end up at Iowa State that the staff would have him on a very short leash.
This has got to be a scary thought in their minds.

I voted “yes”, but agree with this too. I don’t know Dresser personally, like some on this board, but I get the feeling he wants grinders who live and breathe wrestling. AJ, while he does have baggage, I believe fits the “grinder/live and breathe wrestling” mold.
That is the reason you consider him. People want to watch him whether it’s to see what he does or to hope he loses. Either way, he pulls eyeballs.
I'm confused about Ferrari based on his post-match interview at NCAA's. I have had a very bad opinion of Ferrari and did not expect to hear him talk like a church boy. Is that genuine?

Since we only had 1 AA this year and 197 was pretty much an automatic loss. I vote yes.
