Best season in a long time IMO.
I'm so confused right now.The important thing is Brunson has somehow avoided paralyzing his neck with all the whiplash.

It's even worse than that. He actually had the final four teams in AR, and the top two in Survivor.Oh, and @CycloneRulzzz - Lew took both Survivor AND Amazing Race this year, dammit!
I really wanted part of Final Tribal Council to show Joe addressing these facts. How does he sell his "honor and integrity" gameplay when faced with that? Maybe it was edited out though. His face looked pretty defeated when they went to vote so I think he knew it was over.I really don’t understand how Eva rode Joe’s coattails to the finals and then somehow got more votes than him. I guess a sympathy thing.
Thought Kyle was the deserved winner. I liked Joe, but I don’t really think he gets to play the “honest game” card when he turned on David when David (rightly) pointed out that Kyle was working with kamila. He also was very strange to Shauhin when Kyle had told him that shauhin had flipped. Couldn’t believe he didn’t just ask shauhin point blank if what Kyle said was true.
Joe turned on those people because of Kyle's lies. When Kyle got word that Kamilla was on the chopping block, both of those episodes, Kyle fed Joe false info and he bought it. David took too long to talk to everyone about the Kamilla/Kyle relationship.I really don’t understand how Eva rode Joe’s coattails to the finals and then somehow got more votes than him. I guess a sympathy thing.

This. Kamilla literally did nothing except lie to people when Kyle told her to. No chance she gets my vote. While I feel the outcome was predictable I am happy to see three people in the final 3 who I feel deserved it.
I've been saying the secret K & K alliance would play an integral role in the outcome. They telegraphed the result the way they edited this season.
I thought Eva should have played up the fact she controlled the majority of the advantages more. With her autism it was important for her game to keep the curveballs to a minimum and by controlling the advantages she was able to protect her alliance. This was integral to her game and I think she should have made that point to the jury.
I felt while Joe didn't want to attack Eva to bolster his own game he should have pointed out Kyle's deceptions. He could have explained that he only voted out his alliance members when based on the information he had (from his trusted ally) they had already turned on him. If he was deceived then he was deceived but it was by a lier. From his perspective they turned on him first. While the deception ended up getting the jury members put there it was Kyle's deception and from the information Joe had it was in his best interest to do that. And Kyle did take Joe to the final so his perception and relationship must have been pretty spot on. Joe's final word seemed like he knew Kyle had this won and he was making a desperate plea.
Alas Kyle did in my opinion play the best strategic game. And while I found him the least likable of the 3 I think he did deserve the votes he got. There was a visible shift in final tribal when the K & K bomb dropped. Yes it was lobbed at him by Kamilla but he put her there to do that. He managed the jury the best and put each person there with intent. Then lawyer spoke his way through final tribal. Give me that guy as a lawyer should I ever need one.
The big surprise to me was the Jury saying Kamilla would have had their vote had she been there. I wonder if having time at ponderosa to really flesh out her role had anything to do with that or if there was more going on in the background that the edit didn't show us the viewers.
All in all this was one of the best seasons in a long while. Easily my favorite of the new era.

Welp. Better luck next time.IT's the women factor and I am not trying to be sexist. Women will vote for women. No matter what. She was clearly the third best player out of Kyle and Joe
Totally agree. Nobody really made their case. Joe didn't really give reasons why he did anything other than to say he was honest. Which quite frankly he wasn't. Ask David and Shauhin. All Eva did was say look at what I did with my autism. There was so much more to her game. Kyle won because he had people on the jury lobbing soft balls at him. Not because he articulated his game well.Just finished the finale. Surprised Kyle won and thought Joe deserved it. Kyle winning shows you still need to make moves and be deceptive to win Survivor. I thought finale tribal was as weak as we’ve ever seen and, to me, no one really made their case well as to why they should win. If I’m Joe, I lay out that I’m probably the first player ever to play an honest game, to win challenges, to be the biggest physical threat, and to be the guy no one wanted to be sitting with at the final 3. Instead, he kinda rolled over.
Some will say this season was boring and predictable but I really enjoyed it because it broke the mold of a tradition Survivor season where lying, backstabbing, and big moves are how you win. I enjoyed seeing if this “honest” game would work - and it did! Not the flashiest season but a really, really solid one.
