The second signing period begins Feb. 5? And, the next portal opening is in April?

Any indications if we can expect additions at either period? Or, perhaps the crystal ball remains foggy? Thanks.

I think that how the current Portal additions sort out over the next few days will determine flexibility on offers going forward.

I’d also expect another spate of outgoing transfers after Spring ball.

Hawethorne is a stud
ISU listed him at 6’3” 220 on Cyning Day, which is usually more accurate than the recruiting services.

With his speed, sure, sure, he could be another Jake Hummel at Will, but that frame and the way he hits suggest something more at Mike.

Yeah, I’ll toss the name Urlacher around. Yep, anything close is a long shot. Yes, I’m getting ahead of myself. Sure, I’m being optimistic, so toss those rainbow emojis on. You know you want to!

The point is, his arrival, development and playing career are going to be very fun to watch. And that’s the only real point I’m trying to make.

Go Cyclones!

Signed. They listed him at 6’4” 280. Much as with Alijah Carnell, moved inside from end as he physically matured.

So is there a backstory on why BJ Carter was committed but did not sign during the December early signing period: Academics, waiting on additional offers, wanted to make sure his position coach was still at ISU, etc.?

Excited he's a Cyclone, can never recruit too many DL guys.

Wanted to sign in February.

That’s it. End of story. No conspiracy theories required.
