Are there just not gonna be any first round upsets this year? Outside of Drake and McNeese (which weren’t super surprising results) there just hasn’t been anything. I was worried it would be us.

I mean, technically Creighton and Baylor are considered upsets (9s over 8s)... but I'm starting to understand why I had so much chalk in my early rounds of my bracket I filled out.

It was nice to see the bench guys get some run, however, it is noticeable the drop off from the rotation guys to even a guy on the fringe of the rotation like Watson. It's too bad he still doesn't have a decent handle after 3 full seasons in the program.

With all the guys who transfer out of these smaller programs you probably will not see it as much.

Not the same anymore

It’s a good reminder that the rich are going to get richer in this NIL world. When the big boys can steal the best players from the kids every year this is what we’re going to get.

What we saw in the final minutes when both teams emptied their benches... really explains why TJ didn't do it earlier. Our lead could have evaporated QUICK.

Is it just me, or do their guards shuffle a bit
I think the refs were in “let’s get this game over mode” and just ignored a lot of stuff
Rebounds 35-23

Points in the paint 50-20!!!!!

Enough said.
Did they really show a stat that we are 5-0 when outscoring our opponents by 30+ in the paint? Christ,I would hope so!

I don't think it's completely fair to compare the results when everyone has their scrubs in vs. as part of the regular rotation.

I still kind of wish Watson would get a few minutes in some of these games just to see what happens. If he sucks, then he doesn't play any more. But more often than not, it seems like he is solid enough to have earned 5-8 minutes per game.
