ISU WBB and NBA Rules

Unclear what the NBA rules are, but there does seem to be less body contact in the NBA than what is allowed in Big XII. I thought OU tried to get TU physical in 3rd but refs and ISU would have none of it.
It has very little to do with NBA rules as opposed to officials who should call the game according to the rules. The frustrating thing, in my view, is that people dismiss physicality (to the point of fouling, not simply jostling for a loose ball) as if you should just adjust to that.
I'd argue that doing things (hacking, bumping ball handlers, etc.) that's against the rules and not having it called is "cheating". I dont have a better word for it, cheating feels harsh but what else do you call playing outside the rules?

Speaking of NCAA rules, I thought that a coach could not be one the playing floor while the ball is live. Must be my misunderstanding because I see coaches on the floor standing beside the officials while play is goung on in front of them and nothing is said.
I am not sure that you can say there are a Final Four team in that instance. However it would greatly increase their chances. The freedom of movement that the NBA embraces now would be a huge advantage for the way we play, That is how the game was officiated for the most part on Saturday and we saw the result. The challenge (IMO) for this team would be a dominant post or teams that are really good offensive rebounding teams.
This is one of my biggest issues. If I remember a few years back coached had to stay on the bench except to stand up to call a timeout. One of these days either a player or official is going to run into one of these coaches and get hurt. If this happens I hope it is an official so others can see how this is an issue and should call it. According to a friend who is an official if a coach does impede a player it is a tech foul.
Honestly the way the womens game is officiated is part of why I don’t watch as much as I used to. The game is just way to physical and not fun to watch. That stinks because the woman’s game used to be fun to watch too.
I'm surprised that a coach hasn't coached his team when they really need a bucket to turn their head back toward the ball and run into one of the coaches who are constantly way out on the floor, draw a technical, shoot the free throws and keep the ball.
It can get painful to watch when we go against the bully-ball teams. But man this team plays a beautiful brand of basketball. They sometimes remind me of the San Antonio Spurs teams from about 10 years ago.
I think the rule calls for footing outside the line and Goodson's feet were in this instance. But referees can call the T if "any part of cloths, accessory, or body impeding normal game action." Kidd under that interpretation is therefor within the rule.
Just because teams play us physical doesn't mean they couldn't beat us if they didn't. It only means it's the least path of resistance.
