I'm marking this day on my calendar as the day that I learned Chumbawumba sang more than one song.
Late to the party but I didn't see the first song that came to my head and had to post it.
A friend of mine had this album playing nonstop for months in her dorm room.

I continue to recommend that album as a whole. For many listeners, nothing is likely to resonate to the level of "Tubthumping," but to my ear at least half the songs are as good or stronger than that, if you invest the effort for repeated listens.
Lissie is from near the Quad Cities and actually lives on a farm north of the QC's on the Iowa side.
I went to her live... solo acoustic in an old church with maybe 200 people in the audience, which was pretty neat... and she told the little story about it. I was one of two Iowans there when she called it out, which was once more than I expected.
It is actually nearest to Decorah in Winneshiek County. She grows hay there.
Good one. A friend turned me on to some of Hartford's stuff. I return to it from time to time. One album title gets A-plus: "Mark Twang." I think Hartford has a good amount of Mississippi River/Delta-related songs that fit this week's topic.
