Re-al Mitchell to Transfer

Disappointing, not surprising. Good luck to him wherever he ends up.
Unfortunately not a surprise with Dekkers coming in behind Purdy. Wish we could have found a spot for him but he’ll have success elsewhere. Best of luck!
Good luck to him moving forward. I know his dream is to play QB, but man he could do some damage at another position.
He’s going to be great somewhere, but it wasn’t going to happen here. Purdy still has two years left.

Don’t blame him one bit. Too bad for him Purdy was much better than expected. Good luck to him, he’ll do well if he lands in the right program. Imagine him at Georgia Tech or Navy.
I don’t see Purdy leaving after his junior year. Brock is an amazing college player, but I don’t see his game completely transferring to the NFL after his junior year.
Not surprising, but wish he would have gotten to play a bit more, especially in the games where we couldn’t get anything going. Wish him the best
I remember when Purdy committed someone within the program said they kind of felt bad for Mitchell because he wouldn't have came knowing that but he was already enrolled
I love Matt Campbell. I agree with most everything he does. But I think he screwed up on this one a little bit. There were plenty of chances to involve Re-al in the offense much more than we did, but we didn't. Hope I'm wrong, and maybe I will be, but we could look back in a couple of years and have a really sick feeling in our stomachs about what could have been with Re-al. Especially if Brock gets hurt or leaves early for NFL.
