PA just legalized it and someone built this for $10 million. I've been to the top 5 in Vegas and this looks better than anything I've seen out there.

Another one in PA for 5 million

One thing this made me think about:

Pro Sports teams in PA: 8
Pro Sports teams in IA: 0

Then if you take in to account that Philly is huge and right in the middle of the most populous area of the US and there are a large contingent of N.J./NY pro Sports teams fans/transplants that pool gets even bigger.

That's a good point.

I still think PM could easily justify a lot better sports book but we'll have to wait and see. It's like a person making 200k/year buying a 2003 Ford Escort. I'm not saying they need to buy a Ferrari but a 2019 Honda Accord doesn't seem like a crazy purchase.

So can you fund your online account in house? Asking for a friend that wants to keep the funds away from a significant other

You physically go to the casino to deposit cash. You cannot deposit using the app. You can bet using the app. To withdraw funds you have to go back to the casino in person.

Just got back - my thoughts, which aren’t that great:

- Registration process was fairy quick and easy, but it goes way downhill from here

- Talking to an employee, because of a misunderstanding, they didn’t complete their application for the William Hill app for Iowa to be in the App Store until yesterday. This is a two week process, so it will still be awhile before Mobile is available.

- Your first fund must be in person, every fund after that can be on mobile. HOWEVER, you can’t put funds into your account until your account is created, which takes a few days. This means you have to go to Prairie Meadows to register, then a few days later have to go back to put your money in.

I have an I-Phone and they told me I'd "receive an e-mail in a few weeks". That's all. Pretty dumb I couldn't at least make my initial deposit while I was there.

I went to Prairie Meadows yesterday. I was able to create an account using their android tablets and then deposited cash into my account.

My frustration was that you can't place a bet from your account at PM. After I signed up, I deposited all the cash I brought, then when I picked the bets I wanted, I had to withdrawal from my account, and then pay cash for the bets. Also, those bets won't be tied to my mobile account.

So, if you don't mind my asking, you used their android tablet, you now have an account, but without an android phone do you have a way to access it?

I went out Saturday and set up the app on my Android. It's really easy to use. Trying to find the best early lines for CFB. It's fun!

I know you weren't asking me, but it's my understanding that you do not have a way to access your account once you've set it up until the app is available for download. Once you download the app, then you sign in to the profile you created when initially visiting PM and setting up the account.

Uh, yes and no.
I can't access my account from my iPhone until the app is released. But once it is available, I should not have to go back to PM, the money should be available for me to bet.

I do have access to my account from PM though. So if I want to make bets before the app is released, I have to go to the casino, withdrawal from my account, and place bets with cash.

Went yesterday. I have an android so I don't have the issues of the iphone users. Trying to sign up for my account on my phone wasn't working so I used their tablet. It sounds like the sports book has hot spots that work better when registering. I got it set up, deposited money, and I can use my app to place any bets I want now.

The person I talked to guessed that mobile deposit will be available for the android in a couple of weeks. They are shooting for week 1 of the NFL season.

The app shows an option of adding funds to the account at CVS and Family Dollar stores. Has anybody tried that yet?

I also placed a bet in person. I bet $2 on the Pittsburgh money line against the cubs last night to ensure a cubs win. It worked.

The thing that sets me off most is that this is the third Apple app William Hill would have. Completely **** the bed on this one

Anyone with an Android and William hill know how to check what the legs are of your parlay? Account history doesn't appear to.

Signed up on Saturday and got my confirmation email today. Once the iPhone app is available, I'll head back down to PM to do the initial signup/bonus.

Hopefully the iPhone app will be ready by Aug. 31!
