Got back to the hotel what a cluster. The clerk had disappeared and none of the room keys were working there were close to 20 people waiting to get things straightened around. I'm guessing the trip adviser reviews will be pretty critical. Called over to the other hotel owned by the same group and they sent some one over to straighten things out.

I would recommend Gravity Storm Brewing Coop in Austin. Their beers were pretty good and it is Jimmy Buffet themed. Down on Main St.

Naw Albert Lea, niece is doing internship with Hormel, just drove over after work to to have supper with her. Steve's pizza (which was supper) is pretty good, really crispy thin crust. After supper just walked downtown and found Gravity Storm. What were you doing over that way a Baseball tourney? There were 2 different little league teams at the pizza joint while we were there.

Edit just read post above sounds like a wedding reception.

So did our young friend @RunninMan survive his reception?

I survived! The wedding was at Geisler Farms by Bondurant. That's a really neat place especially in the fall when they have their corn maze and other activities going on. The wedding was country themed which normally isn't my thing but it was very well done. We left before the real partying started but the wedding party did a good job of holding back until the non-partiers left.

@wxman1 the B-17 flew over the wedding ceremony a couple times. There's no wonder those things are called Flying Fortresses. If I saw one fly over and it wasn't on my team the intimidation factor alone would make me run for cover.

Yes, only nieces wedding in Austin. My sister works for the hormel foundation and her son is interning with hormel/QP as quality person for the summer.

I did have to sit through the grooms wedding party making fun of Iowans. I think they forgot that their grandma was from Iowa.

Went to a wedding last night. When literally you're entire family is watching you talk to a girl... it's awkward.

That's all

Probably awkward for her to.

Well I'm in the next group in line when it comes to weddings so they're all just pestering us. We're definitely failing because only one of my 7 cousins in the same age range has a significant other

Hire an escort next time and surprise them. Or just find a date I suppose, but the escort would be more fun.

Now imagine a huge formation of them...

Well my reunion weekend ended badly and it was all on me. At the bar last night after many people left one the girls in our class bought 40 fireball shots. There was like only 15-20 there and several people didn't want one. So a few had more than 1. I however had 10 of them. After making a FB post that after 10 Fball shots I was still standing I made my way to a chair and stayed there. Luckily the few that were there are amazing people and 1 is a doctor so they keep a close watch over me. One of my classmates got me to my mom's house. It was at my mom's house that the contents of my stomach emptied. I think I scared my mom half to death that I'll never forgive myself for.

I've slept all day and just now feeling okay. Never touching fireball again.

Drove past an accident, police already there, one car had been sideswiped. Both driver's side doors were ruined. Car still had the dealer temporary tags on it.

Overall it sounds like you had a great time at your reunion. Your mom will forgive you. We're good at that. :)

When my parents bought their first SUV in 2001, my mom talks about driving home with it and thinking "OMG, this car costs more than our first house."

I ate at Arby's tonight. horsey sauce and curly fries. A Richard Marx song came on in the dining room....."Don't mean nothing". Randomly surreal.
