I will be updating this particular post in general as other promotions announce their WrestleMania week events. ROH and many other promotions almost always do something in the host city.

Just been announced Harlem Heat is being inducted into the Hall of Fame this year. Interesting as I don’t think this was on anybody’s radar and Booker T is already in the HOF.

Also a couple of AJ's examples of Randy leaching off of others doesn't hold water. Wyatt family and Legacy - those were 2 times Randy was being used to get those guys over.

Awesome line by Randy tonight. I'm the landlord and rent is due you son of a *****.

Before that AJ Styles daring to do what nobody (that I'm aware of) has ever done - accuse Randy to his face of ripping off the Diamond Cutter.

That entire segment was completely savage in the best way possible while I was always looking forward to an Orton-Styles match, it now has my full attention. Orton is at his best when he's motivated, and as of right now you have the best of Randy Orton.

I'm cautiously optimistic about this card.

Assuming Lesnar is engaged, he and Rollins should put on a hell of a match.

The Women's Triple Threat should be awesome as long as they let Charlotte do the heavy lifting. She'll make the other two look great.

Orton-Styles should be fantastic

I'm not the biggest Kofi fan but he and Bryan can really go

I wasn't watching when Batista was around so, eh, whatever.

And Shane will do something stupid so that's always good for a pop.

HHH has cut some epic promos the last two weeks....forgot how good those guys can be from that era...compared to now when most of the promos are weaksauce.

Took my kid to the house show in Dubuque on Saturday Night.

Results:
Samoa Joe over R-Truth
Jeff Hardy over Andrade (Andrade is much bigger than he looks on TV)
Nikki Cross (who I still don't get) and Carmella over Sonya DeVille and Lacey Evans
Rowan over Mustafa Ali with post match run in by Kevin Owens
Becky Lynch over Charlotte Flair
Big E and Kofi (Xavier Woods wasn't there) over Sanity
Asuka over Mandy Rose w/Sonya DeVille
AJ Styles over Randy Orton

A Few Observations:
--Samoa Joe should teach heel psychology. Just awesome at it.
--Jeff Hardy (understandably) doesn't do any of his signature stuff on house shows. Pretty basic stuff from those two
--Lacey Evans can actually kind of go in the ring. The character is still a disaster but she's big enough that she could be an upper midcard talent going forward. Was more impressed than I thought I would be.
--Mustafa Ali is tiny and he's not going to last long if he wants to live on the top rope and do suicide dive after suicide dive every night.
--Becky and Charlotte put on a hell of a match once Becky quit trying to sell the knee.
--New respect for Randy Orton. His quad cramped early, probably 2 or 3 minutes in, but he and Styles still went almost 20 minutes and Orton bumped and sold hard for AJ. They both got all their signature stuff in. Orton hit an RKO. They abandoned the Styles Clash because Randy is simply too long. AJ hit the Phenomenal Forearm to win. IF those two are given a decent amount of time at Mania, it's got a shot to be a really good match.

I just can't get into Drew Mcintyre. The dude literally had a storyline on Smackdown a few years ago where Teddy Long threatened to fire him every week because he wasn't very good.

Kurt Angle vs Baron Corbin for Angle’s last match? There’s gotta be a swerve or else I’m gonna use it as the bathroom break match.

Based on recent storylines, sure it makes sense. But if this is really Angle's swan song, I agree they could do better.

I am praying for a return of Angle's son, Jason Jordan.

That was easily one of the dumbest stories in recent memory.

Jason Jordan isn't on the active roster anymore and actually hasn't been for some time. He was forced to retire from in-ring stuff due to his neck issues. He's now a part of the producer team.

This would be a fitting ending

The Wrestling Observer reports that Kurt Angle is likely to announce that John Cena is his last opponent at WrestleMania 35, which for Cena would be coming full circle, as Angle was his first opponent when he debuted on the main roster.

I've heard that rumor too and it would be fitting, and a much better option than Baron Corbin.

We actually saw him and said hi after the last KC Raw show. Nice guy.
