No clue. I'll take ISU 72 Texas 65. I think/hope Shayok continues his resurgence and at least one other guy for ISU goes off. That plus sound team defense and rebounding should be enough to get out of Austin with a W.

Since we are pretty much out of the race for the title, I'm now much more relaxed about this game. We don't play well in Austin, so I'm really up in the air about a prediction. It will depend on how well the horns are shooting.

I think ISU wins. Blowing a game like UT did to Baylor - one they really needed, had a huge lead, and shot 56% from 3, has a good chance of breaking a team.

Famous last words.

When was the last time ISU played well in Austin?

Win or lose it would be encouraging if the defense carries over from Monday.

Generally any time ISU is doing well there, all else comes together.

Either way I love me some March and now it's just resume improvement for this group.

Gotta think Texas employs Baylor's philosophy and just pounds the offensive glass all day, especially with how they typically shoot the ball. I'm gonna say Iowa State handles it a little better than they did against Baylor, but this one scares me. I think Texas pulls away late with free throws.

Texas 75, Iowa State 69

Offense clicks. Defense forces TOs that lead to transition points. Give up enough offensive rebounds to allow UT to stay in the game, but Cyclones win, 78-70.
