Is it at all possible for WVU pull together enough energy and a few miracles to upset K-State? It would be very helpful if they could. One can hope, right?

Hmm short answer no...

They got killed this weekend. They are short handed. They are playing it out till the end of the season.

I will only say that West Virginia was offensively completely incompetent on Saturday and had a couple players who didnt belong on the floor for a P5 team. If KSU is so bad without Wade right now that they lose this game then they are in trouble.

Both Stokes and Wade were in boots after the ISU game. If both are missing, K-State could get beat with sixth man, Cartier Diarra, out for the season.

No way WV gets them, even if Wade isn't a full go. If I'm Weber, I'd leave him out unless it was apparent that they had a chance of losing without him.
Sounds like Bolden is out until this weekend, at the earliest.

Bolden, Harris, and Ahmad all played in WVU’s collapse in Manhattan. The three combined for 12 points, 11 rebounds, and 10 turnovers in 64 minutes.

If Wade is out, this could be an ugly enough game that WVU could have a chance.

I doubt that, but even so, I'd hold him out unless the lead was 10 or less with 10 minutes to go.

Perhaps I’m seeing what I want to see, but this KSU team got beat by A&M with Wade and Morgantown can be a tough trip. Hopefully WVU has one good game left in them and does us a favor.

That is a good point. I guess I've chalked that up to a weirdly timed non-conference game that just didn't have their attention (though playing a clear cellar dweller in conference can evoke similar responses (or lack thereof)).

I think WVU has a chance tonight if Wade sits. Kansas is playing really well and without Wade KSU struggled against Tulsa and Southern Miss.

No way KSU loses tonight. WVU is brutal to watch and they only seem to get worse as the year go on. I predict WVU goes on a couple 5 min scoring droughts tonight.

I tend to agree. I'm hoping the mountaineers can have one more solid performance on their home floor. Their talent is bad, it was evident watching Saturday against Kansas. Come on Huggy Bear

These refs should let these two teams go at it. They both want to foul every trip.

Wade can be a tough matchup, but Brown and Stokes control the game.
