Did someone have possession of the ball before that picture? looks like a lot of hacking no matter who had it.
Not gonna lie, the Hawks looked good in that game (I guess that's inevitable when you beat a Top 10 team). It'll be interesting to see how they do down the stretch (am kind of hoping for a FEB swoon).
Impressive by Iowa. Gotta give credit where credit is due. Also helps our rpi. Glad we don’t storm the court anymore. Cool to watch but I think it speaks volumes of our program when we’re expected to defeat top 5 teams at home

As I noted in another thread Michigan is way overrated, They just don’t have any guard scoring. Zavier Simpson is so so overrated. JBo can shoot over the top of him.
I saw Iowa fans rushed the court. That's cute. I remember when we were at that stage.

Agree with this 100%. Give me Michigan in our region as a #2 or #3 seed. No interior scoring. They thrive off the dribble drive from Simpson. Guy cant hit a three to save his life. I think Babb would shut him down.
That being said I will give the Hawks some credit. The development Garza has made is incredible. Easily the best player on that team. The offense needs to run through him every single time down the floor. Fran continues to force feed Cook for what reason I dont know. The guy should be a Dustin Hogue energy type player you dont run the O through him.

Something something 2015 CyHawk game ignoring the manner in how ISU won and failure by Iowa's transfer thug when it mattered.
That's great and in the grand scheme of things cancer is awful and good for them that the kid prevailed, they're spreading the word etc.
But that would maybe mean Connor would strive to not act like a douchebag and Fran wouldn't kick things off the scorer's table and those things actually happen.

I agree with you on Garza. Garza is a lot better player than Cook IMO. Garza is very skilled offensively, Cook not so much. Both suck at defense, so that's a wash.
If Iowa had a couple guards they'd be dangerous, but they don't.
I don't know how people can say Michigan is not a good team. The fact is, they are really good, they win a lot of games for a reason. Did Iowa catch them at the right time, probably. Michigan played Tuesday night, Iowa last played on Sunday, so Iowa did have an advantage going in the game. That said, I have to give Iowa credit, they not only beat Michigan, they killed them, every time Michigan threatened to make a run, Iowa responded. Iowa is really good, hate to admit, but they are.
