Voted. Prohm is in first. I like us winning these things. Not sure how it helps cure cancer, though.

Awareness and donations (not that it's going to be cured)

I agree. The awareness and donations lead to breakthroughs in treatment and new medicines. I lost my mom last year after a 7 year battle with ovarian cancer, but the care and medicines provided to her no doubt extended her life significantly. We were truly blessed to have the extra time with her.

Lost my mom to cancer in 2015. Unfortunately, it was too far progressed by the time we talked her into going to the doctor (and she knew it), and she didn't want to pursue the treatment (it was in her throat, and she didn't want any part of losing her voice). Lost her 1 week to the day after the diagnosis.

Wow, that sucks. Cancer is a terrible disease.
