But...but...I thought we needed a new OL coach?!!

Anyone that actually watched the line play last year knows the OL was lost on a lot of plays. It was better at the end of the year, but still not good. Hopefully, Manning will be able to help with this. Without a doubt, the OL is the weakest link in the program. That was not a position to put a GA in, but the timing was really bad. He has had a year's experience, and his guys are all coming back, so maybe this year will be the one that that unit steps up.

Build a program that has a bright future with university and fan backing it'll attract good coaches which will perpetuate a good product on the field which will further success and raises our national relevance which in turn increases the prominence of our coaching positions which further's the brand and success.

I never knew Jay Jordan was actually Bryson Dechambeau! How cool is that!

Yeah, calling for a new OL coach just because they were bad last year was stupid. Because they were bad the year before with Manning coaching them.

Obviously, coaching wasn’t the primary issue.

And if CMC had thought it was, we would have seen a different OL coach along with the rest of the changes. Pretty sure he knows the OL and coaching better than anyone on here.

Unless Bruns is on here, of course.

Two years ago the line was not very good under Manning, but that was mostly because of the losses from the year before. CPR OL recruiting was garbage his last 2 year. There was nothing for Manning to work with but a handful of RS freshman. Three years ago Manning did the best OL coaching job in the country. Some people forget that.
