I was an unspectacular high school wrestler and weighed 150 two weeks after my last 125 weigh in. It did used to be quite common. I think its a good thing if people aren't relying as much on the weight cut though.- flyingcement

A recent NCAA decision determined that JUCO years would not count against the four years of eligibility. But my understanding was that enrollment in JUCO does trigger the start of the five year clock. In which case, someone can salvage one year but not two (if I'm reading it correctly)- flyingcement

Yeah we were talking about it on the intermat forums. Hipolito, Miller, and Church have all used their redshirts. It seems like a weird fit unless Caleb Henson is taking a redshirt or they are comfortable just moving Church to the bench- flyingcement
