For sure, that adds to him retiring. However, if he saw himself as an easy one,two, or three every year, he would still be there.
Like a friend tells me in Ames, I’m just a lowly ditch digger - but I’m a millionaire ditch digger.
He had also previously said a year before he was nowhere near retirement though too. Then complained about every recruit conversation was about money…then he retired. Probably a combination of both but NIL made it easy for him

It’s fascinating how, by sheer happenstance, they didn’t mention the ‘25 five star he’d be stuck behind.
Or, that they’d bring in another 5 star next year. And the year after that.
